Recycling of plastic is one of our core business areas.

Through our wholly-owned subsidiary, OFK, we are helping many plastic processing customers with recycling of waste and scrap. In some cases, we perform simple tasks such as grinding thermoforming scrap and waste to a crush fraction. It may also be of plastic film, boot klumps, disks, ingots, boot rolls or other waste from injection molding or extrusion. In most cases, we regranulate the crushed fraktion.

During regranulation the plastic is heated to a liquid form. The molten resin is degassed and filtered through special filters so that the absolute particle cleanliness is achieved according to customer requirements. After purification there is a pelleting process, cooling and, if necessary, mixing. Finally, it is packed in large bags or octabin containers.

During regranulation there is also the possibility to mix in color or other additives.

We can take on some sorting, but as a rule the customers sort their own scrap according to material and color. It should be sorted well-separated from other impurities, and always be protected from rain. The saying "shit in - shit out" applies here. If we help each other to handle the material right, then it is a good investment to material recycle their factory waste with us.

We can regranulate PE, PP, PS, ABS and other polymers. In practice, we only grind all thermoplastics.

We require a minimum quantity of 3 tons; otherwise, cleansing and conversion costs might become unnecessarily high.

Sales of recycled plastic

We buy various plastic parts, which we then resell in processed form or to order. This is always done as a rule on behalf of any plastic converter. We demand polymer purity and defined polymers, free from contamination and in a minimum quantity. We can of course help to identify the polymer. We only purchase plastics that we believe can be divested.

Contact us with any questions about the recycling of plastics. It most often ends in a profitable result.
