All product development in the company gives priority to an ecological approach. Environmentally sensitive additives are avoided as much as possible. Polyplank work continuously to reduce and prevent environmental stressors.

The raw materials raw materials that are used are recycled, and the company's own production waste is recycled into new products.

Both production facilities are so-called C-sites under the regulation of the Environmentally Hazardous Activities and Health Protection Act (SFS 1998:899). Polyplank conducts operations that are notifiable under the Environmental Code.

The input materials consist of recycled thermoplastics (not PVC) and compounded wood fibers (one or more polymers is mixed with additives, in this case wood fiber).
